The Institute for International Programs (IIP) at the Johns Hopkins University is leading the development of common results-monitoring indicators and producing an overarching monitoring framework for the Catalytic Initiative to Save a Million Lives. The aim is to identify, assess, and help implement methods for determining short-term changes in mortality rates among children under five years of age in low-income settings with weak health systems.
