Description
The project aims to strengthen the capacity of the Hospital Centre and of its personnel to insure that health care services be more elaborate and more accessible to the people of San Luis and surrounding bateyes. This project includes prevention of the mother-child transmission of HIV (MCTP), increasing early child maternal health care services and the implementation of an HIV/AIDS awareness and education program through a mobile clinic.

This is one of two parts of a project valued at $498,518. The first part has been completed.
