This project aims to improve sexual and social health and to reduce the vulnerability of women who are victims of violence and sexual abuse or at risk of becoming so. Project activities focus on the prevention of sexually transmitted and blood-borne infections and HIV/AIDS; increasing awareness among women and men; the provision of basic health care and testing; providing psychological and social support for victims of violence; and improving the organizational and financial management capacity of the local organization. This is one of two parts of a project valued at $428,266. The first part has been completed. |
