Come Face2Face with entrepreneurs who think big!
Meet Vu Thi Ha from Vietnam and Tatu Juma from Tanzania. Both women head successful businesses in their communities. They represent examples of how empowering women in developing countries helps contribute to a community's ― and a country's ― economic growth.
Vu Thi Ha and Tatu Juma are currently travelling across Canada in the form of life-size cutout figures. You may come across them at special events, in airports, at universities, or other public spaces. Each figure is marked with a Quick Response (QR) code that, when scanned with a smartphone, takes you to videos about these women and their work. Here is an opportunity to learn more about some of the beneficiaries of CIDA-supported projects in developing countries.
You can learn about
Vu Thi Ha's and
Tatu Juma's stories on CIDA's YouTube channel.
