Somalia

CIDA does not maintain a significant development assistance program in Somalia, but does provide substantial support to ease the humanitarian crisis in East Africa, through its multilateral and global programs.

Somalia may also benefit from other CIDA programs, such as:

• Geographic regional programs including:
  • the Pan-Africa Regional Program
  • the Southern and Eastern Africa Regional Program
• Partnerships with Canadians programs that support the efforts of selected Canadian organizations working in developing countries
