The Canadian International Development Agency's (CIDA) bilateral assistance (country-to-country) in Asia has moved towards a more focused relationship with fewer countries where aid can have a greater impact.

As such, Malaysia no longer receives direct bilateral or partnership assistance from CIDA.

Malaysia remains eligible for funding through core multilateral programs including the Humanitarian Assistance program.
