| Host Organization Details: | The Central Housing and Planning Authority (CH&PA) is a semi-autonomous Agency that operates under the auspices of the Ministry of Housing and Water. CH&PA is comprised of six Departments: Land Development and Allocation; Planning and Settlement Development; Settlement Regularisation and Upgrading; Projects: Low Income Settlement Programme; Management Information System and Human Resources. In addition to CH&PA’s Head Office, there are six Regional Housing Offices. The Central Planning and Housing Authority of Guyana was created in 1948 to address the housing needs of the working class of Guyana.
