| Position Description: |
Coady's Youth in Partnership is a six and a half month program including
a four week pre departure educational certificate and workshops designed to
prepare the associate for living and working overseas. The workshops allow the
youth associate to become more familiar with the philosophy of development, the
principles of adult education and the Coady approach. This placement is
suitable for graduates with a background and interest in advocacy, human rights
and health. Following the placement the youth associate will take part in a two week re-entry program. The re-entry program assists the youth associate to reflect on their experience, to de-brief and to share their experiences with other Canadians. The program also includes an opportunity to develop career and job search skills. |
