Position Description: 1. Coordinate, participate and co-organise Beninese-Canadian outreach medical missions; 2. Establish Sexually Transmitted Infections (STI), HIV and malaria prevention programmes, and continue HIV/AIDS education in local schools and voluntary testing; 3. Continue to build, expand and strengthen alliances with local clinicians, the regional hospitals, health centers, schools and traditional healers in the region; 4. Continue the support and development of activities related to the Orphan and Vulnerable Children (OVC) programme, loan programme and education centre Qualifications: -A degree in project management, administration, education, health or related field is required; -Awareness of STI, HIV/AIDS and malaria issues in Africa and an understanding of sustainable livelihoods would be an asset; -Interest in international development and social justice. Previous experience in Africa or with children an asset; -Maîtrise du français oral et écrit. |

| Détails au sujet de l'organisation d'accueil : | Avec l'ASCCB, une ONG reconnue au niveau national, le projet contribuera au développement de la santé des communautés d'Anoum et Aklampa, qui n'ont pas accès à des infrastructures médicales ; il aidera les communautés à avoir accès aux soins de proximité de bonne qualité et à moindre coût et dynamisera les liens entre les communautés et associations béninoises et canadiennes. Ils ont déjà accueuilli des stagiaires de l'ACDI auparavant. |
