Description du stage : Position Description:
1. Assist in overseeing the day to day running of all programmes excluding the health clinic but including: the business training and microloan programme; shelter services; counseling; the guesthouse; marketing, grant writing, and overseeing the productivity and training of assigned volunteers;
2. Manage the medical clinic/health outreach programme;
3. Assist in the planning and implementation of monthly health seminars, and outreach initiatives as well as the planning and implementation of CACHA/PTE medical outreach caravans.
4. Assist with income generating projects

-A degree in project management, administration, education, health, gender or related field is required;
-Awareness of HIV/AIDS and gender issues in Africa and an understanding of sustainable livelihoods would be an asset;
-Interest in international development and social justice. Previous experience in Africa is an asset.

Détails au sujet de l'organisation d'accueil : Pamoja Tunaweza’s mission is to provide individually-tailored support, counseling, temporary shelter and education to marginalized women and their children suffering from poverty, gender-based violence and HIV/AIDS. The project will help build the centre's patients' capacities through medical treatment, business education, vocational training, health education and legal counseling, so they may successfully overcome challenges and live full lives.
