1. Staff training and/or technical assistance in database development
for improved project administration and management. 2. Staff training and strengthening for effective and consistent use of information systems and to increase the efficiency and effectiveness of program documentation and monitoring and reporting. 3. Project field visits. 4. Staff training and development of project performance checklist (e.g. logical framework analysis and results based management table). Qualifications: · University Degree in Development, or Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology · Monitoring and Evaluation Expertise · Experience proposal and report writing · Excellent writing and communication skills · Cross-cultural communication skills · Public speaking and group facilitation experience · Knowledge of African health development issues |

| Détails au sujet de l'organisation d'accueil : | The interns will aim to strengthen the capacity of AMREF in Tanzania to document good practices, conduct quality operations researches, produce publications and conduct policy analysis using existing project profile that shall inform policy and practice in Tanzanian health system contributing to improved survival, health and well-being of children, youth and women and reduced inequalities across geographic, income, age, gender and other groups, in accordance with the national government’s National Strategy for Growth and Reduction of Poverty. AMREF Tanzania’s work includes: encouraging people to get themselves tested for HIV through the “Angaza Zaidi” project and reducing the stigma attached to the disease; empowering women to recognize their reproductive health rights and be able to openly discuss the issues with their spouses; and raising awareness of sexual health issues among young people. Interns will build AMREF Tanzania’s capacity in Information Communications Technology (ICT), research and analysis, policy development, monitoring and evaluation (M&E) and improve mechanisms for sharing information effectively. |
