Description du stage : BONELA is starting a new children's rights project in 2007. The project involves raising awareness of human rights and human rights concepts among young people in Botswana by introducing human rights education into school curriculums. BONELA has identified a gap in the lack of knowledge on human rights and human rights concepts among communities that have participated in BONELA human rights trainings. The poor knowledge of of human rights is attributable to the fact that human rights education is not made a part of early education in the Botswana education system, hence people are not education on human rights concepts at an early age.
