Support PAG's HIV/AIDS Program director to increase the capability of
leaders to prevent the augmentation of HIV/AIDS cases among their community
populations, and to extend emotional support to members of their communities
who are infected and affected by HIV/AIDS. Develop propaganda communication for
HIV/AIDS prevention. Begin support groups for children who have been infected
with the HIV virus.
Preparation sessions with World Accord Staff to be best equipped for arrival in Honduras
- Set up support groups/ counseling groups for children infected with HIV.
- Design micro radio programs to spread HIV/AIDS awareness.
- Participate in meetings regarding coordination and evaluation of projects.
- Prepare periodic reports for donors.
- Assist with community workshops/ AIDS trainings.
- Provide follow up to 2004 supported HIV program

|Détails au sujet de l'organisation d'accueil :||Proyecto Aldea Global is a Honduran NGO working to improve the quality of life for Hondurans. PAG has responded to critical community need in Tegucigalpa's urban slum of Flor del Campo, and the surrounding areas of Siguatepeque with micro credit programs intended to provide business orientation, economic and technical support, to individuals and groups with the initiatives linked to commerce production and service. They have been managing a large eco-park since 1998.|
