Description du stage : The GEO for Youth in LAC project began as a youth assessment and participation process that has so far resulted in the creation and publication of environmental assessment reports by youth in the LAC region. The project action plan for the 2007-2008 period focuses on a continuation of national and sub-national GEO for Youth assessments, a training and capacity-building of existing and new partners, and a strengthening of the partner network. The process is designed to provide youth with the tools they need to impact sustainable environmental change in their communities and countries. For more information about the project, please see its website at http://www.pnuma.org/geoju venil/geoj_index.htm.
