Description du stage : Position Description:

The Youth Entrepreneurship & Microfinance Program Advisor will build on the work of the Youth Entrepreneurship Program Designer position.

  • Assist with program design of the microfinance intervention, further assessing the market as well as the credit needs of youth
  • Assist with design and development of program materials (training, financial education, etc.
  • Assist with the implementation of the program pilot
  • Carry out training, facilitation and evaluation with university-aged students

Qualifications:
  • Experience (min. 2 years) of work with youth entrepreneurship projects
  • Knowledge and/or experience in Community Economic Development (CED)
  • Demonstrated ability to assess markets and the credit/financial needs of youth
  • Experience in training, facilitation and evaluation
  • Able to work independently as well as collaboratively
  • Minimum of intermediate ability in Spanish
  • Excellent organization and planning skills
  • Ability and experience working cross-culturally
  • Understanding of or experience working in a non-profit environment an asset
  • Knowledge of micro-finance an asset
  • Knowledge of Bolivia and/or Latin America an asset
Organisation d'accueil : FONCRESOL
Détails au sujet de l'organisation d'accueil : FONCRESOL and CCI work together to reduce poverty through the provision of micro finance services and the promotion of a social economy. Over three years, FONCRESOL and CCI are working to strengthen FONCRESOL's programming in fair trade, youth entrepreneurship and communal banks. The interns will contribute to both the development of these programmes, as well as their ongoing evaluation.
