| Description du stage : |
CAPRI is working in nine different neighbourhoods on the outskirts of
Managua, helping people to improve their living conditions through community
organization. Youth is an important component in the community and they are
being organized in a number of actions, including health issues such as
HIV-AIDS groups in the nine neighbourhoods, to generate a movement among young
people to encourage responsible sexual behaviour to avoid HIV-AIDS
infection. The intern will be in charge of planning, implementing and evaluating, together with a youth movement from nine different marginal neighborhoods in the city of Managua, an HIV-AIDS Education Program for youth. The intern will: - Help to organize youth and awaken their interest in mobilizing the community to learn about HIV-AIDS issues. - Contribute to increasing the level of understanding amongst youth regarding the HIV-AIDS pandemic and how to prevent the dissemination of the disease. - Help youth help others by obtaining appropriate training and developing leadership skills. - Write quarterly reports on the HIV-AIDS youth education program at the local level. |
